What does this Privacy Policy Cover?

This is the Privacy Policy for the MYFE.guide website and social media content.

MYFE.guide (in this policy referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”) is the “controller”under data protection laws. Where we are processing your personal information in relation to our content and/or Site, we are controller of your personal information.

The main reason we collect and process your personal information is so we can provide you with relevant content and to improve your experience. It also allows us to provide any services you sign up for, such as downloads, newsletters, and to communicate with you if you’ve agreed to it, or when the law allows us.

Our site includes links to other websites that don’t fall under this Privacy Policy. Please read our Terms for further information on links to external sites. You should also read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any other website you give personal information to. You’ll be bound by them. MYFE.guide are not liable for anything that happens when using other sites.

 

What type of information do we collect?

We collect information that relates to your use of the MYFE.guide site. We receive, store and collect any information you enter on our website or give to us in any other way. However, we don’t use any information to identify any individual user of our site.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to distribute our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com that may be used by MYFE.guide adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

We do not share your personal information with any organisations:

MYFE.guide will not share your personal information with any other organisation for marketing purposes.

 

How do we communicate with our site visitors?

If you've made a large number of requests or your request is complicated it may take longer to deal with your request. But we’ll let you know if that is the case.

Right to erase and to restrict our use of your information: This is the right to request that we remove or delete any of your personal information from our systems. Data protection laws give exceptions to this right which we'll explain in our response to you if relevant.

 

Right to correct: This is the right to have your personal information corrected if it is not correct or is incomplete. Requests for us to correct your personal information will be actioned within one month. If your request is complicated or if you've made a large number of requests, it may take us longer to action this. But we’ll let you if that is the case. If we think your personal information is correct, you will be told that we will not be changing your personal information and why that is.

 

Right to data portability: This is the right to request that we transfer, copy or move your personal information.

 

Right to restrict our use of your information: In some instances you can 'block' us from using your personal information or limit the way in which we can use it.

Right to object: This is the right to object to our use of your personal information including where we use it for our legitimate interests, or where we use your personal information to carry out profiling to inform our market research and user demographics. In which case we'll let you know why we're continuing to process your personal information. Some areas of the MYFE.guide may give you the option to hear from us by email about news, tips and relevant downloads. It is your right to object to us processing your personal information in this way.

We reserve the right to alter this privacy policy at any time, so please check it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect straight away when they are posted on this website. If we make material changes, we will let you know here that it has been changed. This is so that you are aware of the information being gathered, how we use it, and under what instances, we use and/or disclose it. It is your responsibility to make sure that you are aware of these changes made to this page by checking for any alterations on a regularly. Changes to this policy will apply as soon as they are added to the page.

Right to block:

We reserve the right to block or deny access to any individual or organisation we deem is trying to disrupt the smooth running of the Site.
